Odaira and Wallace score twice in overtime loss to Durham West.

North York Storm Junior fell 5–4 in overtime to the Durham West Lightning at Ajax Community Arena 1 on Saturday, October 17. The corrected official game sheet and completed league feed agree on the final score.

Umeka Odaira and Emily Wallace scored twice each for North York. Amber Nazir and Victoria Elliott each recorded two assists, while Emily Omasta added one assist.

The Storm trailed 2–1 after the first period and 4–3 after the second. Wallace’s third-period power-play goal tied the game 4–4. Greer Thompson scored the overtime winner at 1:29.

The official shot table lists Durham West ahead 34–23. Individual goalie statistics have not yet been reported; no saves total is inferred from team shots.

An earlier version of the official sheet duplicated the overtime goal and displayed 6–4. That entry has been corrected: the game sheet now contains one overtime goal and confirms the 5–4 final.

North York next visits the Whitby Wolves on Tuesday, October 20 at 8:10 p.m. Toronto time at Iroquois Park Sports Centre 1. Tournament statistics remain separate from regular-season figures.
